Tibenham (spelt Tibbenham or Tybbenham in times past) is a small village situated in South Norfolk, England. There are few major roads or railways near, so it has retained much of its quiet, unspoilt character. This site was originally developed to raise funds for our Peal Appeal, and we have restored the peal of six bells originally hung in a medieval oak frame, raising £80 000 in just over 2 years. The Committee would like to thank our many friends and donors for their generous support. There are rumours that more grant funding has been secured for the latest Church Restoration project. However, I cannot confirm or deny them here without official confirmation from someone involved. There is also a Friends of Tibenham Church group which has no connection with this website, but shares the same aims. The website has since grown in scope and there are lots of other things to explore:
