All Saints' Church has undergone major restoration since 1989 and we thought that you might like to see what we have been up to and what is planned for the future.

Phase 1 1989 -2004.

 Inside, complete overhaul of the roof and redecoration of the walls
West and porch windows restored.
South Aisle windows - replacement of broken panes
Tower restored with new stairs
Bell restoration project with new bell frame, steel mesh flooring above the bells, new ladder to roof from new viewing platform in old belfry.
Bells fitted with new headstocks, wheels, clappers and ropes
Complete re-wiring of the church and new heating system installed.
New kneelers made, several from our friends in the 445th BG
Churchyard paths renewed

Total cost: £200,000

Phase 2 2007-2010

As part of the Benefice Heritage Project.

New drainage system
Repair of Chancel Roof: Completed
Restoration of the organ
Restoration of the Buxton Hatchment & George II coat of arms
Restoration of the Buxton Pew

Total cost estimated at: £40,000

The church is Grade 1 listed and is an important historical building not only locally but nationally.
