J. Mitson Self was owner of The Limes Farm, opposite the Church. and sold some
land in 1920's for Depwade Council (now South Norfolk District Council) to build
council houses on.
J. M. Self was also Churchwarden for many years and a Trustee of the
Almshouses which were built practically opposite Limes Farm.
