This is a picture of the tapestry designed and made by Holly Ault of Mass, USA. It was exhibited on the Bunwell, Carleton Rode and Tibenham Churches' Float at the Sandringham Show, attended by Her Majesty the Queen Mother. The tapestry shows the Tower of All Saints' Church Tibenham, and pictorial representations of some change ringing peals - it's all greek to me but click here for more details !
The tapestry was raffled for the Peal Appeal, and the lucky winner, drawn at the Harvest Supper, was Sheila Carver of Tibenham. The total sum raised was £340. Once again, our thanks to Holly Ault for such a beautiful piece of artistry. |
