SUMMER FLOWER & PRODUCE SHOW
Sat 7th June Entries 10am -12noon
Public Viewing 2- 4pm
The WI will be providing teas throughout the afternoon

As usual we're holding our Summer Flower and Produce Show on the same day as Tibenham's Summer Festival. It's designed to be a FUN
event, and it's aimed at the whole FAMILY.  You will find an Entry Schedule showing all the different classes you can enter at the bottom of this page. Whether you're into gardening, cooking or arts and crafts hopefully you'll find a class (or two) that suits you. There's a Cup for the person with the most overall points.

CHILDREN'S SCARECROW WORKSHOP
Sat 31st May 10am -12noon

As many of you will know one of the highlights of the Summer Festival is the Village Scarecrow Competition. To help get some of the youngsters in the mood, and to offer them some inspiration, a special Scarecrow Workshop has been organised at the Hall on Sat 31st May. It's a 2 hr session - and it's absolutely FREE.
NOTE TO MUMS & DADS - We're hoping to have a bumper dressing up box available so the kids can choose outfits for their scarecrows - so if you have any old clothes you could spare for the Workshop they would be much appreciated. Drop them into Brenda at Railtons in advance or bring them up to the Hall on the morning. And having dropped off the kids at the Workshop why not stay for a cup of coffee at the Coffee Morning.

CHEESE & WINE EVENING - sponsored by WAITROSE.

LOOKING FURTHER AHEAD

Saturday Sept 27th
ANNUAL HARVEST SUPPER &
AUTUMN FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW

It's always a really popular event. More details nearer the time.

VILLAGE CINEMA 2008/09
Village Cinema proved a big hit last winter, providing an authentic taste of the Big Screen right here in the Village. Films like Atonement, Notes on a Scandal and Ratatouille attracted audiences of between 50-60, and the children's matinee for Ratatouille was a particular success. Though we have decided to give the Cinema evenings a break for the Summer
(apart from anything else we don't have a proper blackout) we will be running a full programme of films throughout the coming Autumn and Winter. You will find all the dates listed in the Calendar of Events

Other events at the Hall April to July 2008
